The Ultimate Money Management Bible

to Become Financially Literate, Make Important Financial Life Decisions, and Feel Good about Money. Start on Your Journey to Financial Security and Freedom.

I never thought that finance was my passion, even though I studied finance in college at the #2 undergraduate business school in the U.S. (according to Poets & Quants). I just thought it was a practical thing to study and trudged through my classes.

But, when I got out of college, something miraculous happened: I realized that I was OBSESSED with thinking about my personal finance. I spent hours creating spreadsheets to tackle my $33,557.03 in student loan debt within 2 years. Once I felt that I could safely pay off my student loan debt, I turned my attention over to planning for my retirement by mapping out how much I needed to invest every year to reach my retirement goal. Once that plan was solidified, I thought about saving for a down payment on a home.

You get it by now. I like planning this stuff—it’s actually fun for me. So, let me do the heavy lifting for you. I’m so excited to help you on your journey to financial success, security, and freedom!

Your Money Guide

Ok, let’s get ready to rumble! These are the topics that we’re going to talk about to get you to financial security and freedom. I suggest learning about these topics in chronological order, which you will be prompted to do after each lesson. But, if you only want to learn about some of the topics, that’s totally fine too!

What you’re going to learn.  The workbook I talk about will be included on each post.

A Money System to Transform Your Life.

1. Knowledge is power.

Personal finance intimidates you because of all the terms and jargon you’ve never learned. You never had someone sit down and teach you how to have the right financial habits and make the correct financial decisions. If you actually understood what was going on, you would feel confident about your finances. You just need an easy to follow system.

2. Informed decisions are the best decisions.

You are going through or preparing to go through a major transition in your life, whether it be graduating from school, getting married, having kids, or planning to buy a house. You want to make sure that you understand your finances fully so that you can make the best plan for the next chapter of your life. You truly would like to learn how to “adult” and manage your life properly.

3. I need to make a change.

You feel so scared about money. You could be drowning in debt, overspending and not sticking to a budget, or ignoring your savings account. You might feel the need to splurge to show how wonderful your life is on social media. Either way, you know that something is wrong with your financial situation and you need to do something about it. You can’t live in this fearful place forever.

Enough of all this talking. Let’s start learning. Our first lesson is about your Net Worth, specifically why your net worth is important.
